About Fleur
Author (published by Gallimard), journalist and host of writing workshops in the Paris and its suburbs, I am passionate about languages, literature and the idea of transmitting knowledge.
Fluent in English (I lived in London and worked for an international company headquarters in the communication and training department), I have a master degree in literature and teach company leaders, artists and people starting living in France. They prove me that learning can be affordable, effective and fun !
I practiced the Montessori method during my schooling and wish to arouse curiosity, active participation and autonomy in the students.

My method always starts from a text, whether it is a comic book page, a poem or an extract from a classic or contemporary book. Language is a tool for communicating information, emotions, rhythm, narration, culture - and text provides an ideal context. Then, depending on the level, we will begin basic learning of the French language or an in-depth study to learn how to handle its finer points. I have read War and Peace four times and know all of Goscinny's texts by heart. I read George Sand and Bukowski, Kessel and Despentes, Camus and Madame de Sévigné, Edouard Louis and Homère. Going to a desert island is impossible for me, because I could not choose a single book to go with me.
