About Ashley
I'm a doctoral student in Behavioral Neuroscience with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin. I have a deep passion for education and mentorship, and my hope is to one day become a professor so I can continue making a difference in students' lives.
Throughout my academic journey I've had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant for specialized university-level courses. My doctoral work also requires a high level of scientific writing, so whether a student needs help breaking down complex material or putting together a strong paper, I'm well equipped to help.
I tutor middle school through college entry-level students in science, math, reading, and writing, always focusing on genuine understanding over memorization and tailoring each session to how that student learns best.
I also have a strong academic network I can lean on to make sure no question ever goes unanswered.
At the end of the day, I just want to see my students succeed.

Hi! I'm Ashley, a Doctoral student offering personalized online tutoring for middle school, high school, or college (entry-level)
Areas: Reading, Writing, Math or Science.
My approach to learning is simple-- students shouldn't just memorize information, they should understand the material.
Every student learns differently, so I will do my best to tailor each session to methods that work for YOU whether it is visual breakdowns, real-world examples, or working through problems step by step, we will find what works.
If we ever hit a topic that needs extra expertise, I have a strong academic network I can tap into to make sure we get to the right answer.
