About Karla
Director & Associate Professor of Theatre Education M.F.A., Brandeis University B.F.A., Wright State University About Professor Karla She/Her is a consent-based theatre Artist. Karla is certified in Mental Health First Aid and is a strong advocate for mental health awareness in the performing arts. Karla has taught full-time at the collegiate level at Heidelberg University, Iowa State University, Drake University, the University at Albany (SUNY), and Saginaw Valley State University. Professor Kash spent a decade as the head of the B.F.A. Musical Theatre Program at Drake University, where she was a tenured Associate Professor.
