About Hoang Nam
I'm a first-year Electrical Engineering student at Monash University, Clayton. I graduated with a 99.15 ATAR and a DUX Award — highest achievable grades in both Math Methods and Specialist Mathematics, and high-distinction level in Chemistry.
I've been tutoring since 2023. I take students' results seriously because I know exactly how much hard work goes into performing at that level — and I know the difference between a student who doesn't care and one who just hasn't been shown the right way to think about a problem yet.
Outside of tutoring I'm building software projects and studying engineering full time. I'm organized, direct, and I don't waste your time.

I don't run cookie-cutter sessions. Before anything else, I figure out exactly where you're stuck — then we fix that, specifically. No wasted time working through content you already understand.
Every lesson is built around your weakest points. I'll push you to think through problems rather than just copy solutions, because that's what actually works in exams. If you can explain it back to me, you own it.
I specialise in senior Maths and Chemistry but cover all levels from Year 7 upward. Sessions run in-person across Clayton and surrounding suburbs, or online if that suits you better.
First session is free — no commitment, no pressure. Come with your biggest problem and we'll work through it together.
