About Austin
I have been a science teacher for 15 years now and have taught Astronomy specifically for 10 of those years. I have taught at museums and nature centers as well as zoos and in private boarding schools and alternative public schools. This wide range of teaching experiences in a variety of locations, has given me opportunities to teach a wide range of age groups as well.

Do you have questions about space and the Universe? Of course you do, everyone does! That’s where I come in. My name is Austin and I am here to help you better grasp the wonderful science of Astronomy! Topics will include: - how astronomers know what they know and how they gather data. - what is the electromagnetic spectrum and why is it critical to the study of the Universe. - Cosmology - Galaxies - Stars - Solar Systems, ours and others - Exoplanets and the possibility of life elsewhere in the Universe!

Perfect! My 7th grade kiddo had an interest in learning more about astronomy and I'm so happy we found Austin! Austin spent the first lesson introducing himself and getting to know my kiddo and what he was excited to learn about. My kiddo looks forward to every lesson and comes out excited to share all of the cool things he learned.
