About Mia
My experience as a biology undergraduate peer tutor at Savannah State University has allowed me to understand how to navigate through hurdles that come with taking difficult scientific courses. Additionally, I serve as a research mentor at Polygence, Inc. where I mentor high school students on developing high-impact research projects. I am extremely thrilled to help students focus on understanding knowledge gaps in course material and propelling forward to success!

In my lessons, I aim to ensure that all students are heard and motivated to complete educational milestones. A typical lesson plan will include the following: 1) identifying which subjects are presenting the most difficulty, 2) establishing a proper foundation for the implementation of future learning strategies, and 3) employing new concepts that are intriguing for each student's individual needs. My lessons are available for middle school, high school, college, and graduate students.
