I start my teaching method by getting to the root of the matter. Whether it be to pass a test, complete homework, or feed your curiosity, I research the best ways to bring both practical lessons and big ideas to the table. I am never afraid to receive or ask "stupid" questions, because those are precisely what makes the material worth engaging in.
My lesson plans are specially tailored to each student. I am proud of the flexibility that provides me when I am serving the needs of the student instead of the lesson.
I am determined to help my students understand any topic (within reasonable boundaries). Patience takes priority when any student struggles with ANY topic. Instead of shame, I bring pride and celebration to mistakes and encourage them.
These lessons are for anyone; ANYONE who desires to improve their arithmetic, algebra, and Calculus I skills.
