About Olivia
I am a visual artist (I studied mostly art history and photography), musician, and recently graduated from my Master of Design in Interdisciplinary Design at NSCAD University. I enjoy teaching English and French, and especially helping students get their essays communicating exactly what the student desires.
Je suis une artiste visuel (j'ai étudié, pour la plupart, l'histoire de l'art et la photographie), musicienne et je suis aussi récemment diplômé de ma maîtrise en design (en design interdisciplinaire) à l'Université NSCAD. J'aime enseigner l'anglais et le français, et surtout aider les étudiants à faire en sorte que leurs essais communiquent les vrais sentiments des élèves.

My teaching methodology is very practice-based, so I teach through exercises and lived experience. I feel this methodology works best for students who learn better through immersive experiences. Language for me should function in the day-to-day, and that is how I build my lessons.
Ma méthodologie d'enseignement est très basée sur la pratique dans la vraie vie. J'enseigne donc à travers des exercices et des expériences vécues. Je pense que ma méthodologie fonctionne mieux pour les étudiants qui apprennent mieux grâce à des expériences immersives. Pour moi, la langue doit fonctionner dans un façon quotidien, et c'est ainsi que je construis mes leçons.
