About Sara
Hi! Im Sara, a biology nerd, music lover, artist, traveler and pet lover!
I recently graduated Rhode Island College with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, I also hold an EMT license and have worked as an EMT for 6 years.
I have experience tutoring students from 1st grade all the way up to 12th grade. I also have experience working with special needs and neurodivergent students.
I have years of experience learning about the human body and all things science and I have the dream of passing my knowledge to my students while providing them the confidence and understanding they deserve and need to succeed in whichever field they find interest in.
School and learning can be daunting for some and I strive to create a comfortable and effective learning environment for all students.

I aim to make learning a tough subject easier. I break things down, to really see the bigger picture and learn all of the necessary information. My lessons are for everyone and I change my style depending on who I'm teaching.
Every lesson will begin with a review of the last lessons work as well as covering any initial questions or concerns from either the student or myself.
The bulk of the lesson will involve vocabulary, theory and application to firmly grasp and have a good understanding of the idea on hand.
The end of the lesson will be a summary of what new information was taught, a brief review of what will be taught next time (if applicable) and any final questions for the day.
The lesson will have frequent short breaks to keep the mind stimulated and interested.
Questions are welcome at any point during the lesson.
