About Michael
For the past five years I have spent all of my time and energy in the development of myself as an artist. Currently I am finishing my bachelors degree in art history and after that I will seek an MFA so I can eventually secure a professorship to teach drawing and painting. My current education focuses on the history of art and representation, this in turn informs my studio practice. From my academic background I have done extensive research into classical methods of art education and have taught myself these methods. Through my own development I have recently been apart of an artists residency in NYC and was awarded a scholarship based on artistic merit.
