About Taylor
I am a current practicing artist and creative placemaker. I like to come into teaching with a beginner's mind and be open to dialogue and exploration with students. My primary medium is textiles, but I've worked with all mediums and taught them as well. My thesis mainly explored how we can connect and build community through praxis, which I strongly feel applies to teaching.

I like to have a Montessori teaching philosophy. Students have as much to teach as they do to learn and I enjoy giving them autonomy and instruction/encouragement along the way. I do like to start with fundamentals in terms of techniques but am not strict on not letting students explore different styles.
