About Umme Hani
I am passionate tutor who believes that teaching is not only informative and constructive but an exchange of ideas and experiences. In addition to that, I am also an Art History MA candidate based in Toronto. I grew up reading english literature and have been inspired by writing, reading and creating for as long as I can remember. I otherwise also like to indulge myself in podcasts, museum and gallery visits and a good old movie.
My personal take on teaching is to always be open to learning anything and being flexible in integrating a customized tutoring approach. I believe that with the right motivation and enthusiasm, it is definitely possible.

The aim is to understand the tutee's expectations and needs and customize a methodology that works for them and to narrow down a timeline that benefits their learning.
I have a personal affinity towards teaching, writing and art, and so as a tutor I hope to be as creative as possible for better understanding.
The lessons are inclusive of all age groups, specificity can be given to tutee's targeting professional learning of the language.
