About Margaret
How does clear feedback change the way you speak? I pace our time to ensure that liaison and nasal sounds become second nature rather than a source of stress. We bridge the gap between simple everyday phrases for beginners and the complexity of exam preparation for DELF or DALF.
Because I hold an MMus, I treat pronunciation with the same precision I apply to a musical score. Our dialogue practice often moves into interview preparation or role play scenarios.
You will find that mastering verb conjugation and accent intonation feels manageable when broken into logical segments. Writing skills improve through consistent, guided refinement. I focus on cultural context to make our sessions grounded and authentic. It is truly satisfying to observe your progress when the language begins to flow naturally.

Spending 13 years performing across Quebec shaped my understanding of linguistic nuance and cultural depth. Transitioning from the stage to the classroom felt like a natural evolution for my career. My MMus from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal provides a foundation for how I analyze language structure today. I have guided 500 students toward better fluency and confidence.
Teaching is a continuous process of discovery for both of us. Working with adults allows for a level of focus that I find deeply rewarding. I occasionally enjoy sketching local landscapes between my tutoring hours. My own path has been a blend of artistic rigor and scholarly pursuit.
