About Ava
"Walking into a laboratory at Monash University remains one of my most vivid memories from my undergraduate years in molecular biology. Those early days provided the foundation for a career spent refining methods for teaching the nervous system, human anatomy, mitosis, and meiosis. My approach centers on clarity and technical precision in biological drawing and complex topics like protein synthesis. Over 13 years, I have supported many individuals as they navigated DNA and RNA structure.
I treat biology as a rigorous discipline that rewards patience and consistent analytical practice. What specific areas of molecular biology do you find most challenging to grasp today?"

"Confusion often arises when students try to memorize biological systems without understanding the underlying mechanics. Many people approach these subjects by rote, yet true comprehension requires a methodical breakdown of complex pathways. During our time, I offer weekly practice questions with feedback to ensure you apply concepts correctly.
This process creates a structured environment where technical questions become manageable through practice and essay technique. My 13 years in the classroom inform every explanation I provide regarding human anatomy or cell division. We examine the logic behind the data rather than simply reciting facts from a textbook.
You will find that these rigorous habits translate well to exam settings. Please reach out if you would like to begin this work together."
