About Andrew
Hi, I'm Andrew. I've lived in 9 countries, including Australia, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, and several in Europe. I speak intermediate Japanese and Chinese, and love sailing and snowboarding.
I've been a director, a CEO, a lead design Architect, an English teacher, and an Architecture Tutor.
While I earn my main income as a Business Consultant, my passion is passing on knowledge, so I've always dedicated some time each week to tutoring and helping to grow the next generation. Hope you'll find my mix of design and career mentoring useful!

I can help Architecture students and junior Architects get a strong launch in life by tutoring the high-level concepts of design, and the foundations they should work on now to build their career.
I do 1 on 1 sessions or small group, and have been tutoring in various capacities for over 18 years. I used to formally tutor at International House, Whitley College, and St Hilda's College. I'm patient, kind, and can go at your pace.
I hold a Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architectural Studies, and Victorian Architects Registration (Non-Practicing Division).
Sessions are usually 1 to 3 hours long, via Zoom, or in-person if within Balwyn area.
I've won National Awards in Architecture, including the 'Rising Star Award' for best timber designer under 35 years of age.
I'm equal parts career mentor and design tutor.
The 30 minutes free session is limited to Zoom, and cannot be rescheduled. You can use this time for career advice only, as it's not enough to get into subject tutoring.
