Hi, My name is Folahan and I'm studying Architecture at the university of Edinburgh. From running a TED talk club, I've discussed and facilitated discourse with my peers and students, teaching and learning from others in a room of up to 40 people. In GCSE my areas of expertise are in philosophy, graphics, biology and math. Along with this, I'd love to assist you in practising for a UCAS interview.
First I will outline what I want to cover in the session. Then I will ask what the student know and explain the topic in sections. Next, I would have example questions to work through with the student, as well as encourage them and near the end have a summary of the contents of the lecture. Encouraging learning helps the student gain confidence in their ability which is key to progressing. I can measure progress by having a recap question concerning the past session to make sure the student is retaining the knowledge from previous sessions and building upon it.
