About Sohan
Hi everyone, I’m an architectural graduate currently working at Plus Architecture in Sydney, with previous experience at Grimshaw Architects—one of the world’s leading design firms. I came to Australia as an international student to study architecture and understand first-hand the challenges students face, from studio pressure and tight deadlines to navigating design thinking and technical clarity. During my studies, I graduated with First Class Honors Thesis, founded a student-led knowledge-sharing club, and worked with my university to help improve campus spaces, gaining valuable real-world design exposure early on. My thesis was recognized for both its design quality and conceptual rigor, and my professional journey has since taken me internationally for work across collaborative, design-driven teams. As a tutor, I focus on helping students: Develop clear design concepts and strong narratives Improve drawings, portfolios, and presentations Navigate studio critiques and juries with confidence Understand how university projects translate into real practice My teaching style is calm, structured, and supportive. I adapt each session to your goals—whether you need help refining a studio project, preparing a portfolio, or simply gaining confidence in architectural thinking. I aim not just to help you “get through” architecture school, but to help you enjoy it and grow within it.
