About Simie
Hello! I am a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Auckland with over 8 years of experience working in the architecture industry. I am also a certified BIM Manager and have extensive experience using Archicad on a wide range of residential, commercial, and educational projects.
I enjoy helping students develop their Archicad and architectural skills through practical, personalized lessons. Whether you are preparing to enter architecture school, currently studying architecture, or looking to build industry-ready skills, I can provide guidance tailored to your goals and experience level.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and hands-on, with a focus on building confidence and helping students understand how Archicad and BIM are used in real-world architectural practice.

My teaching approach is practical, personalised, and focused on real-world architectural workflows. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether they are learning Archicad for university projects, preparing to enter architecture school, or developing industry-ready skills for the workforce.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and combine step-by-step demonstrations with hands-on exercises. Students are encouraged to work on their own projects during lessons, allowing them to apply new skills immediately while receiving guidance and feedback. Topics can range from Archicad fundamentals and BIM workflows to modelling, documentation, layouts, rendering, and best-practice project organisation.
I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of Auckland and have over 8 years of professional experience working as an Architectural Designer. I am also a certified BIM Manager and have extensive experience using Archicad in both academic and professional environments. My background includes residential, commercial, educational, and large-scale housing projects, giving students valuable insight into industry standards and expectations.
My lessons are suitable for:
