About Rosina
I studied Arabic intensely for 5 years at the University of Exeter and lived and studied in Egypt for 1 year. Although Arabic is not my first language, I have Egyptian heritage in my family.
I have plenty of experience tutoring all ages on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.
I enjoy sharing my passion for languages and supporting others to excel in their learning.
Whether it's basic conversation, classical Arabic grammar or learning how to recite and understand Arabic text in the Quran, I would be delighted to help you with your first steps.
Having experienced learning Arabic from scratch first-hand as a non-native I can connect easily with a learner's perspective when teaching and offer useful tips and effective explanations to help make things click more easily and clearly when my students are trying to get their heads around new concepts.

My teaching methodology is flexible. I adopt to suit the individual. I can give group lessons or one-t-one sessions.
Since language a multi-layered form of communication, I like to mix my methods when teaching different areas of a language e.g. visual tools, written exercises, reading short stories, studying news papers, music, casual conversation, watching news reports and short films, games, role play, trips into town.. the list is never-ending and I'm always developing new methods.
I like all my lessons to be interactive to keep the student engaged and keen to learn!
