Hi! I’m Nawal Samir, an Egyptian translation specialist in training living in China. I focus on Arabic, English, and Mandarin Chinese and have experience communicating with people from all over the world — so no worries about language barriers!
I’m passionate about helping learners of Arabic, English, and Chinese with practical tips, local expressions, and cultural insights. I also support learning the Egyptian dialect, Qur’an recitation, and Tajweed.

As a native Arabic speaker with fluency in English and Chinese, I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and how to make it easier and more enjoyable. I studied at Ain Shams University in Cairo and Dalian University of Foreign Languages in China, which gave me both academic knowledge and international teaching experience.
With over 2 years of teaching experience online and offline, I’ve helped students from different backgrounds improve their Arabic — whether they wanted to learn Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), Egyptian dialect, or just practice daily conversation.
In my classes, I focus on making learning **fun, practical, and personalized**. I believe in creating a comfortable space where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow. My kids get along well with Teacher Nawal. She engages with them in an interactive way. As a parent, I appreciate that she is flexible and open to discussing what are the objectives we hope to meet through the classes.
As an American, I cannot recommend Nawal enough. Her English is great. She structures her lessons while taking her students preferences into account. She uses learning materials for practice and records sessions for review. Great for entry level speakers learning MSA or the Egyptian dialect.
