About Abi
Hi! I’m Abi, a first-year Psychology undergraduate at the University of Leeds. I’ve always been fascinated by Psychology and especially enjoy understanding how psychological research can be applied to real-life situations. I achieved an A in AQA A-Level Psychology and, having recently completed the course myself, I know how overwhelming the amount of content and exam preparation can feel.
I want to tutor because I really enjoy helping others understand Psychology and seeing their confidence grow. I aim to make lessons relaxed, encouraging and genuinely useful, while helping students develop the skills they need to succeed independently. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or aiming for a higher grade, I’d love to help!

I offer friendly, personalised tutoring for AQA A-Level Psychology students. As a first-year Psychology undergraduate at the University of Leeds who achieved an A in A-Level Psychology, I have recent experience of the AQA specification and exam structure.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's individual needs. I can help with understanding difficult topics, applying research and theories, exam technique, essay structure, revision strategies and preparing for exams.
My approach is interactive and supportive rather than simply memorising information. I encourage students to ask questions, practise applying their knowledge and develop the confidence to tackle exam questions independently. Lessons are suitable for A-Level students of any ability and can be adapted to focus on whichever topics or skills they find most challenging.
