About Ángela
As a tutor, I would define myself as a bubbly and easy-going person. I like to get to know my students and build a relationship where they learn, and they feel comfortable talking to me about whatever they want to talk about.
Learning a language cannot be a battle. Learning a language is opening a door to a whole new culture, so I love teaching my classes in a fun atmosphere, making them as easy as possible − whenever Subjunctive allow us!

¡Hola! Me llamo Ángela y soy de Málaga, una ciudad en el sur de España.
I hold a Degree and a Masters in Translation (so I speak English and French) and I am currently a PhD student. I'm also a certified Spanish tutor and I work as Spanish Lecturer.
Through all my academic studies, I have worked as a private tutor − almost 10 years now! I have been lucky to work in academies, private companies, schools, high-schools and universities, within Spain, France and England.
I am used to teaching to a different variety of students: adults, kids and teenagers, 1-to-1 and small groups.
In our first lesson, we will get to know each other a little bit, so I can evaluate what is your level of Spanish.
I will set some goals with you, acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses. This will help me prepare a learning path for you with personalised content.
We can work on grammar, reading, oral comprehension, production and writing.
We can prepare together DELE exams (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), work on your fluency, accent or even in Spanish academic writing.

- Great understanding of Spanish for a "beginner". He knows some grammar rules and remembers a lot of vocabulary. I could tell that Alex knows some Spanish basics but he needs more practice as he mentioned that his classes stopped for a while. Angela is a great teacher! I started my French from zero and she was very patient and the lessons were very well planned so I learnt a lot in a year. I really enjoyed her classes so I would recommend her to anyone.
I have known Ángela for years and I can only recommend her as a teacher. Patient, attentive, kind and with great knowledge of the subject. I am sure that anyone she teaches will be delighted.
Angela is a very skilled and patient teacher. I have no doubt that she will definitely enable any student to attain their goal of speaking Spanish.
