About Amy
My name is Amy and I’ve been playing classical piano for 12 years. I have experience with orchestras, jazz band, wind ensembles, horn quintets, marching band, percussion ensemble, conducting, and composing. I have experience with teaching young students, mainly focusing on patience and encouragement.

I provide basic lessons, music theory, pitch training, and practice logs. Students will start by identifying proper posture, then moving onto technique. I focus heavily on music theory specifically with the context of playing with an orchestra. Students will be able to excel in any group.
