About Anusha
I love studying medicine, but other that, I also love to bake, cook and make art. I have completed my GCSEs and A-levels which allowed me to progress to university for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS). Whilst doing my GCSEs, I particularly was fascinated by the sciences. My hard work and dedication to these subjects helped me attain grade 9s(A*). I brought this dedication forward to college, allowing me to attain 3 A* and 1 A at A-level. I am a motivated and highly organised person; my ability to manage my studies and hobbies with further research has previously allowed me to succeed.
Proudest Achievements
I have undertaken an Extended Project qualification during my A-levels. This was a research project in which I did an extended essay on the topic of acne. My question was ‘Is a topical or systemic approach most effective for the treatment and management of acne?’It has grown my understanding of the ethical, scientific, and emotional elements of medicine. Through my hard work and dedication, I was able to receive an A*.
Furthermore, I also conducted a cancer research project at Bath University; the title of this report was ‘Determining the anti-cancer properties of GFP protein on stomach tumours of rats’. I was able to achieve the highest grade within my cohort.

I am a clear and concise teacher. I make sure what I teach is put into as simple as can be, despite it being often confusing and difficult. I have learnt from my own experience that many difficult concepts, for example in chemistry, can be made easy and accessible to all. However, in saying this, I make sure that I never miss out key points in what you need to learn.
I teach at the level of GCSE and A-level.
