About Tom
I currently study for a BA in Ancient History at the University of Nottingham, having previously focused on History, English, Maths and Latin at school.
I have over a year's experience in tutoring GCSE and 11+ Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English.
I am also a competitive rower with ambitions to join the British Army after University.

My teaching style is adaptable, but I primarily like to engage with students at their level and ensure they are comfortable around me, and then providing a framework for them to make mistakes. This removes fear of error, which in my view is one of the main issues students face in solving problems themselves.
