About Irene
You should expect a session that treats mathematics as a language of precision. Focus on your specific goals during our 60 minute blocks. We will sharpen your number sense and geometry skills through repetitive and structured practice.
My background in fintech means I prioritize efficiency and logic above all else. You will find that I push you to think independently about every equation. I appreciate students who ask why rather than just how.
Preparing for the SAT or ACT requires a high level of mental stamina. I find the process of building that stamina quite rewarding for everyone involved.

Sitting at my desk after 13 years in fintech, I often recall the fundamental math that started it all. My 4 years of teaching experience have been shaped by that same analytical focus. I completed my degree at the University of Melbourne before moving into quant work. Whether we are reviewing coordinate geometry or trigonometry, I focus on the basics that underpin your success.
I have worked with 150 students to date, ranging from hobbyists to those struggling with simple arithmetic. Each student brings a different perspective to the table.
