Hello, and welcome! My name is Kevin, and I'm a native American English speaker who is passionate about helping students of every age and level speak English with confidence. Language opened doors for me, and there is nothing I enjoy more than helping someone go from hesitant to fluent — one conversation at a time.

Hi! I'm Kevin, a native American English speaker who helps kids, adults, and everyone in between speak English with real confidence. I teach 100% online, so we can work together from anywhere, on a schedule that fits your life. Whether you're just starting or polishing your fluency, my goal is the same: to make learning English feel natural, encouraging, and genuinely fun.
My teaching method and techniques
My lessons are conversation-first. I believe you learn a language by using it, so from the very first session, we're speaking English together, at a pace that matches your level. I keep the atmosphere relaxed and judgment-free, because people learn fastest when they're not afraid to make mistakes. As a native American English speaker, I focus on the way English is really spoken: natural pronunciation, everyday expressions, and the small things textbooks skip. I tailor everything to your goals, whether that's confident conversation, cleaner grammar, better pronunciation, or preparing for something specific, and I mix speaking, listening, reading, and writing, so your skills grow together. I correct gently and explain the why, so it actually sticks.
A typical lesson plan (based on a 60-minute session)
Warm-up (5–10 min): A relaxed English conversation to get comfortable and warm up your ears.
Quick review (5 min): We revisit anything from last time, so it moves into long-term memory.
Main focus (25–30 min): The core of the lesson, a topic, skill, or goal we've chosen together (conversation practice, a grammar point, pronunciation, vocabulary, etc.), using real-world examples, not dry drills.
Active practice (10–15 min): You put it to use, role-play, discussion, or exercises, so you're producing English, not just hearing it.
Wrap-up & feedback (5 min): I highlight what went well, note a couple of things to work on, and we set light, optional practice for before the next lesson.
Every plan flexes to the student, a kid's lesson looks playful and game-based; an adult professional's looks focused and practical.
What sets me apart as a tutor?
I'm a native American English speaker, so you'll learn authentic pronunciation, natural phrasing, and the idioms and culture that make you sound fluent rather than textbook-stiff. I adapt easily across ages and levels. I'm as comfortable making English fun for a nervous kid as I am helping an adult prep for a job interview. Most of all, I don't do one-size-fits-all: I listen to what you actually want to achieve, and build the lessons around that.
