About Zakir
I am a dental student in my 4th year at Plymouth university and I have worked day in and day out to achieve the grades I needed and ultimately get me where I am now:) I aim to help other students also achieve the same positions and pass on knowledge that I had gained which made my GCSE's journey easier. Whether you want to be a doctor, engineer, lawyer or any other tough career for that matter you need to be able to work hard and get them high grades to compete with other students around the country. I want to be able to help students unlock their hidden potential and aim high for their chosen career path. I enjoy teaching and find it very rewarding when seeing students progress in their learning.

In my lessons its all about finding a method that best suits a students learning style. One of my favourite resources for maths specifically is 'Mathswatch' which I used to pass my maths GCSE and ultimately get an A* in the subject. For science I use the 'CGP' books which are very concise and reliable resources. My typical lesson would include going over a subject area with a student and then focusing on exam questions which are a students best resource when trying to achieve their high grades. I will go over questions with students side-by-side and provide homework which I would mark in follow-up sessions. I have worked with students GCSE and under in 2 previous tutoring centres in leeds that have been very pleased in their feedback. My lessons can typically last an hour however depending on the subject some lessons may require more time to be able to cover everything properly.
