About Bethany
In my math lessons, we explore how numbers, logic, and patterns shape the digital world we interact with every day. My approach is relaxed, practical, and focused on real applications. I show students how math connects directly to coding logic, algorithmic thinking, and computer science. Together, we explore discrete mathematics and the basic ideas behind how computers process information.

I am a Maths tutor with over 4 years of experience and a MSc in Financial Mathematics. I enjoy turning mathematical ideas into clear and engaging stories that students can easily follow. My teaching focuses on helping learners see how numbers reveal patterns, meaning, and insight. I believe that when math is explained as a narrative, it becomes far more approachable.
A key part of my work is guiding students in creating compelling data visualizations. I teach them how to transform raw numbers into intuitive charts, graphs, and infographics that communicate complex information clearly. These skills are especially valuable for students working in data journalism, marketing, and research, where strong visual storytelling is essential. I help them understand not only how to present data, but how to make it meaningful to their audience.
