About Thea
My teaching approach in Math is structured and focused on helping you succeed, especially in test preparation like SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I guide students to solve problems efficiently, even under time pressure. My lessons include targeted drills and full-length practice tests to build both skill and stamina. We work on spotting common pitfalls and learning how to avoid them during exams. I also help you develop smart strategies for high scores, like knowing when to move on and when to double-check. Together, we’ll focus on improving speed without losing accuracy. I enjoy working with students who want to deeply understand the subject and also perform well in tests. I support learners in writing clear solutions, explaining their reasoning, and managing exam stress. My sessions always adapt to your pace and goals. I’m a Maths tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I specialize in helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. Explaining complex concepts clearly and accessibly is something I take pride in. I work with students to write coherent mathematical arguments that flow logically and convincingly.
Over the years, I’ve helped many students craft well-structured university essays and research papers in mathematics. I also support students in preparing and delivering effective presentations that showcase their understanding with confidence. Whether it’s breaking down dense proofs or writing crisp, precise solutions, I emphasize clarity at every step.
