About Mackenzie
My teaching approach is nurturing and personalized, focusing on making math both clear and enjoyable. I am a Maths tutor with over three years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. My main focus is helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. I believe mathematics is not only about solving problems, but also about explaining ideas clearly and logically. I enjoy turning complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.
In my lessons, I guide students in writing coherent mathematical arguments and presenting solutions in a clear, structured way. We work carefully on reasoning, notation, and step-by-step explanations. I have supported many university students with mathematical essays, research papers, reports, and presentations, helping them express their ideas with confidence and precision.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and adapted to each student’s needs. I encourage questions, discussion, and independent thinking at every stage. Over time, students gain both strong understanding and clear communication skills.
