About Akemi
My name is Akemi and I am a native French speaker of Ivorian and Congolese heritage, and I have grown up surrounded by the French language and culture throughout my life. With family connections to France and regular exposure to the language, French has always been a natural part of my environment.
I want to teach because I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel intimidating, especially for young students. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging space where children feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to learn. I aim to make French enjoyable and accessible, helping students build a strong foundation while developing a positive relationship with the language.
