About Hashleen
In short term, I love to think about mind-boggling, abstract concepts. I hold it clear that English has helped me improve in many aspects of my life. When it comes to my thought process, I question it. English on the outside is annotations on a page. But it makes you think of real-life situations and helps you navigate your thoughts. It’s all about having your spoken opinions to me! I used to struggle with grasping ideas of others, but I’ve developed on that and now it’s not just about stereotypically analysing a “red chair” but how to read situations.

Have you heard your teachers saying, in English there is no wrong answer only unsupported ones? Or maybe you thought writing 6 paragraphs would for sure get you the grade you want? Well, I'm here to help those thoughts. My name is Ash and I’m an English literature and Philosophy student. I am fully aware of tailoring our lessons to what you will improve, whether that is essay skills, exam preparations, English revision techniques, and teaching you the specification. Currently, I only do AQA Hamlet, Macbeth, Jekyll and Hyde, Inspector Calls, The Picture of Dorian Gray, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Doctor Faustus and Tess of the d’Urbervilles. If you are struggling at GCSE or A-LEVELS I will gladly support you with these dense literatures! My lessons are 1 hour long. And my passion for literature only emulates my drive to tutor. I have known Hashleen for quite some time she has helped me through last year when I was struggling with my GCSEs as English was my weakness. I got help on how to revise for English literature and Language and felt more confident when taking my exam and passed with 8s and 9s which is thanks to Hashleen who tutored me during winter time. Not only she's amazing at helping me out with my English she's also really nice and patient when I'm still struggling she believes in me which has been a big help for me.
