About Erin
I have been teaching piano lessons since I was 14 years old and am passionate about helping others find magic through music. I played piano competitively for nearly 7 years, achieving top placements in state and national level competitions. Reach out with any questions- I'm happy to help!

Since 2016, I have taught students ages 5-18 who have come to me with all levels of musical experience. For beginners, I typically recommend starting with 30-45 minute lessons, where we'll work on learning the basics of music theory, fundamentals of sight reading, and introductions to ear training. Music is most of all meant to be fun, so I want to spend time with each student understanding their unique goals for music instruction and what types of music they'd like to focus on in the future. For more advanced students, I emphasize a combination of learning new music to continue building sightreading and technical skills with consistent review of previously learned repertoire to achieve a high level of mastery.
