About Rahul
I work in Finance (investment banking) and have a strong interest in maths, with a degree in advanced maths and passed Maths Olympiad in my glory days. I am very passionate to teach maths and I like to explain concepts in really simple words and by creating simple analogies. I like to make my pupil curious and raise their confidence by worrying less about what they don't know but by acknowledging what they have achieved.

I explain complex problems by breaking down into simple parts and create analogies to help children relate to their day-to-day surroundings. I try to strengthen basic concepts, creating groundwork and move to higher levels slowly. I would discuss a plan with details of concepts and time horizon required to cover, with constant feedback to parents over performance & progress. Typical lesson would last an hour. I have taught maths for engineering exams in India in the past, and more recently for 11+ exams in London.
