About Ben
I have greatly enjoyed every aspect of my mandarin learning journey, due to some excellent teachers who have made it as interesting and varied as it can be. Now that I have the skills and knowledge to teach others I would love the opportunity to show others all of the lesser known aspects of mandarin learning which make it such a passionate interest of mine and pass on that passion to others.

Lessons are student centred and allow student's personal needs to direct lesson content, be that specific exam revision for GCSE/HSK exams, improving everyday conversational fluency, or just learning for fun! Lessons involve a mix of speaking, listening, reading and writing practice, including exam-specific revision and mock questions where appropriate. No matter if you are planning a trip to china and would like to practice vocabulary for ordering dinner, or studying for your GCSEs and need to improve your reading skills on a certain topic, my lessons have something for you!
