About Jon
Do you often feel like the foundations of your maths knowledge are shaky? I work with students who need to bridge those gaps while also coaching high performers for exams. Having guided countless learners over 7 years of experience, I know exactly how to diagnose where a student struggles.
My approach is centred on building up speed once the basics are solid. I cover algebra, homework help, competition maths prep, statistics and probability, arithmetic and number sense, conceptual learning, calculus, and geometry. Students often appreciate that I keep things calm and thoughtful while we work. The process is always grounded in a diagnostic test for every student before we begin.

Pencils scratch against paper as we map out the logic behind a difficult proof together. My strategy involves pacing that respects your current speed while offering immediate feedback on your technique.
Since I hold a Master of Science in Pure Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, I focus on the underlying structure of these subjects. I balance theoretical depth with practical application for all skill levels. You will find that I prioritise clarity during our sessions. We navigate through the core concepts methodically.
I maintain a standard of 10.0 in instructional quality to ensure you get the best guidance. My method simply relies on consistency.
