About Archie
Hi, I’m Archie, owner of ADiVS Tutoring with years of tutoring experience. I started ADiVS Tutoring because I know how frustrating it can be to struggle in class without the right help.
I’m not your tutor, I’m the person who finds you your tutor. I personally match each student with a tutor who fits their subject needs, learning style, and schedule. Whether you need help with math, CS, science, writing, or anything else, I’ve built a network of tutors who are smart, passionate, and easy to work with.
Working with me means no generic pairings or one-size-fits-all sessions. It’s flexible, remote, and all about what you need to thrive. I make sure your tutor’s job is to teach — and mine is to make sure you get the right one.
Let’s get you the support you deserve.

The problem we solve: science courses punish two different weaknesses and most students can't tell which one is theirs. Sometimes it's the concept — they never really understood what a mole is, or what a net force does. Sometimes the concept is fine and the math is what's failing: unit conversions, rearranging a formula, scientific notation. A student who can't tell those apart just concludes they're "bad at chemistry." We diagnose which it actually is and fix that one.
How a typical hour runs:
- A few minutes on what's due, what's confusing, and what grade we're trying to move
- About thirty minutes on the student's actual assignment, lab report, or a close parallel problem, with the tutor prompting rather than working it for them
- A short problem the student does independently, so we both find out whether it stuck
- One specific thing to practice before the next session
We teach students to set up a problem before solving it — identify what's given, what's asked, and which relationship connects them — because that setup is where most lost points actually happen. We also work on lab reports, diagrams, and free-response writing, since plenty of science grades are decided by how clearly a student explains their reasoning rather than whether they got the number.

Their tutoring support helped my boys with math tutoring for 6th grade, 8th and 9th grade. Tutors are great at connecting with my boys and keeping them engaged during the sessions. They assisted with CBE math exam test prep and staying ahead. They’ve assisted when I needed the flexibility with scheduling as well. I didn’t think my boys would like online lessons, but they have been doing great with them and helps a working parent out so much!
I told Archie what I needed help with and within a day I was matched with the perfect tutor. Super smooth process!
Not only did she connect me with an awesome tutor, but she also checked in to make sure everything was going well. That meant a lot to me!
She genuinely cared about how I was doing. You could tell she wasn’t just there to tutor — she wanted me to succeed.
Archie made everything click. I was completely lost in CS before, but she broke it down in a way I could actually understand.
