About Madiot
I have been an actress for thirteen years, graduated from the Rubén Di Pietro School of Acting. I have worked in several plays such as La gata sobre el tejado caliente, Profesionales, Arrebatos de mujeres and also in the Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá. I have worked in Colombian television productions such as: The stylist, The law of the heart, The commander, Tarde met him, etc. I've also worked as an actress in commercials, so I have a background in acting for advertising. In addition to that, I gave an acting workshop at the University of Arts and Letters of Bogotá and acting workshops with the Fundehumac foundation for children and their mothers.

My method is to start first with the physical preparation of the actor or actress. I prepare them first with exercises of meditation, breathing and with both Grotowski and Terzopoulos physical training. If it is in a group, also exercises in space and connection with others to achieve better communication later in the scene or scenes. To prepare the character, we first work on the analysis of the text, which is essential to understand what the character is in. Then we move on to Stella Adler's Imagination Exercise, which is based on the latest teachings dictated by Konstantín Stanislavski. To finish we rehearse the scene until we find the point, both of the character or characters and of the scene itself.
