About Danny
Professional Actor / Director. I've worked in the UK, United States, and South Korea in theatre and TV for the past 9 years. I'm currently working on 'La Casa De Papel' Immersive theatre in London in association with Netflix and Fever. I have a BA in 'Theatre and Professional Practice' from Coventry University, as well as lots of experience teaching and mentoring actors in the areas of drama school monologue prep and improvisation. I'm based in Central London and I'm able to come to you for your lessons. I've currently got great availability during the daytime as my shows are all performing in the evenings. I'm happy to coach actors of all levels, including beginners, as I'm able to help give advice and direction as to how to improve quickly and efficiently.

I'm a HUGE fan of reacting to what's happening on stage and set around you, keeping things fresh and having options. It's important as an actor to stay in the moment at all times, whilst always having an eye on the technical parts of performance (where's my prop, the audience is getting too close to me, ETC.) During my lessons I'll pass on my years of experience in touring, performing, and how to stay active on a long run of performances. I'm happy to teach students of all ages and experiences, as well as more practical tasks (getting into drama school monologues, what drama school is best for you) Also happy to be there for chats and advice, not all lessons need to be on their feet practical performance drills! If you let me know what you want, I'll do my best to accommodate!

I worked with Danny during university and he’s probably the most dedicated person I studied alongside who has poured their heart into theatre, performance and acting. He’s got a hell of a lot of experience in a wide range of performance styles, worked internationally and on top of everything else, is a great guy… a key factor in a tutor I think!
Danny is an excellent teacher of improv, he helped me to improve my reactions and to keep cool while trying to create on the spot. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to improve in this area.
I have known Danny for many years now. He has helped me gain a lot of confidence in my acting skills through funny and innovative exercises both face to face and online.
