About Aidan
Aidan Futterman
I am an actor/writer/director/songwriter.
I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in New York City. I have lived in Cardiff for three years now to study at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and have loved every minute of the training and the city. I have learned a lot about my own acting, and have also discovered how rewarding and exciting I find teaching and directing.
I have worked with groups of young actors (ages 6-13) and love the energy and originality of kids, but I also am very open to and excited by the prospect of working with students of all ages and experience!

My teaching method is individualized. I focus on highlighting and enhancing students' best strengths, and strengthening the skills they have yet to cultivate. I strive to teach in a comfortable and exciting environment to support creative growth and freedom. I always check in to make sure we are clear on the goals we want to achieve, whether those goals are concrete, or harder to specify, and I plan lessons to reach those goals in an engaging, and rewarding way.
