About Olivia
I have a deep love and connection for what I do, and I also love connecting with people, which is why I teach! I have been training and living the active lifestyle of an artist since I was fourteen years old, and I began my first teaching job at sixteen for a theatre summer program. I then spent even more time training in acting first on a mountain in the woods (yes you can ask me about that) and then in New York City. I now act professionally in the LA market and continue my own training (as you can never stop learning) with an LA-based Acting studio.
I take a very nurturing approach to my students that allows room for self-discovery, growth, and creativity. I truly love to watch the artists I work with progress and make self-discoveries as they work. My approach to this is to A) Reconnect you to your artistry/artistic spirit, B) Give you techniques to be in the moment at a much higher rate than you began with, and C) Grounding techniques to bring yourself to a solid and trusting place as you navigate your artistic journey.

Acting auditions, whether for stage or screen can feel like a daunting experience. And trust me, it is normal to wonder about things like "Am I even what they want?" or "Why am I so disconnected from my piece in such an important moment?"
My approach to this is to A) Reconnect you to your artistry/artistic spirit, B) Give you techniques to be in the moment at a much higher rate than you began with, and C) Grounding techniques to bring yourself to a solid and trusting place with your self before even walking into the audition room.
I stray away from strong textual analysis and instead take an approach involving vivid character visualization, physical technique, and freedom. Furthermore, I strongly believe in nurturing fellow artists bringing out your unique qualities as an individual, and allowing room to naturally progress and grow through self-exploration as an artist, as opposed to pushing one to an extreme point to be a "perfect actor."
If you are a student preparing for your school, summer program, or college auditions, or a newer actor who is trying to understand and find comfort in your audition process, this is the space for you! I also provide coaching on headshot preparation, self-branding, and industry information.
