About Kim

Hello! My name is Kim, and I am a college sophomore studying Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school class in 2025 with a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.378 weighted GPA.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence in mathematics and develop strong problem-solving skills. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than simply memorizing formulas, allowing them to become more independent and successful learners.

I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Vietnamese. Having spent much of my life translating and interpreting for family members and community members, I understand the importance of clear communication and patience when teaching new concepts.

Whether your student needs help with homework, preparing for exams, or strengthening foundational math skills, I am committed to providing personalized instruction that helps them achieve their academic goals and gain confidence in their abilities.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students truly understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. I break down complex topics into simple steps, encourage questions, and adapt lessons to each student's learning style.

A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, explaining new concepts, working through examples together, and practicing problems independently to build confidence.

I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in mathematics. What sets me apart is my strong academic background, patience, and ability to explain concepts clearly in multiple ways until they make sense.
