when I was still in high school I was helping my class mates prepare for exams and helping them during self study especially with Accounting.I got 93% as my final mark for Accounting in metric.
My teaching method is going through each topic, but I like to start with the topic that the student find it hard to understand and go through. Student will be given time to ask questions for anything they don't understand.
Lastly it will be the ones they know and then do question papers.
the will be test twice a month to monitor and valuate their progress.
