About Billi
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 8 years of professional teaching practice and a strong commitment to student success. Over the years, I have taught between 150 and 200 students of all ages and proficiency levels, helping them achieve confidence in English communication.
My approach to teaching is based on personalised learning. I carefully assess each student’s level and learning goals before creating a lesson plan that meets their individual needs. I focus on developing strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
My classes are designed to be interactive and practical. I include real-life scenarios, conversation activities, and guided exercises to help students use English naturally and confidently. I also focus on pronunciation and sentence structure to improve overall clarity.
One of my unique skills is my ability to motivate students and help them overcome language fear. I maintain a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. I regularly review progress and provide meaningful feedback.

My ESL teaching strategy is built on flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration, helping students grow steadily and confidently. I understand that each learner begins their English journey at a different point, so I design customised learning paths based on their level, pace, and goals.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson intensity and content based on progress. I use interactive speaking activities, guided listening practice, vocabulary development, structured grammar lessons, and practical writing tasks. Empathy and compassion play a key role in building a safe learning space where students are comfortable making mistakes.

Through collaboration, students take an active role in setting goals, selecting learning topics, and reviewing performance. In addition to ESL, I provide support in spoken English, interview communication, and basic academic writing to help students succeed in real-life situations.
