About Jenalla
I am a post-Grade 8 pianist and Grade 8 standard singer, with good experience in accompanying and a Grade 5 theory certificate. I perform regularly as a professional function singer and session musician around the country, and am a versatile tutor thanks to my training in Classical, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Folk. Warm-ups and exercises are essential for developing good technique; this is emphasised in my sessions. I achieved an A* at Music A-Level and GCSE, and was Music Academy educated, so for anyone studying the music course at GCSE or A-Level, I am also equipped to help with these subjects.

Lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour to suit the needs of the student.
- I teach a wide range of genres and techniques to those from beginner to advanced levels, including children - usually 7+.
- Each lesson begins with several minutes of warm-ups and vocal exercises to consolidate healthy technique and breathing.
- Students may choose their own repertoire and will be given clear practice goals each week to allow progress monitoring.
- I can help students prepare for practical and theory exams.
- Students can expect a thorough and friendly approach and to gain confidence in their voice.
All lessons are held remotely.

I like the extra worksheets & lesson powerpoints that Jenalla makes for lessons. She is friendly and organised which makes things easy to follow. I learned piano from her and would recommend - Forrest.
