About Dorya
Who am I?
Currently a student working remotely, I've developed strong organizational skills and a rigorous approach that I now wish to use to help younger students succeed.
Why do I enjoy helping others?
I've always loved sharing knowledge and explaining things. For me, seeing a student "click" with a concept they thought they'd never understand is the greatest reward. I know school can sometimes be stressful, and I like to provide a reassuring and motivating environment that helps students regain confidence.
My personality :
I'm a patient and effective teacher, and I adapt to each child's pace. My experience with remote learning has taught me the importance of being clear, structured, and above all, a good listener. I'm not just here to ensure homework is done, but to help students understand why they're doing it and become more independent learners.

My teaching approach:
My priority: Restoring confidence and the joy of learning! Tutoring isn't just about grades; it's primarily about methodology and organization. My goal is to help your child become independent and stop seeing homework as a chore.
How does a session with me work?
- Review of the day: We start by looking at the schedule and the lessons covered in class to identify any areas of difficulty.
- Clear explanations: I re-explain concepts (French, Math, etc.) using simple words and concrete examples.
- Practice: We complete the exercises together, then I let the student do one on their own to check their understanding of the logic.
- Methodology: I teach the student how to organize their desk, pack their bag, and create study notes to save time.

Clarifications on my rates:
Online lessons (€20): The most affordable and flexible option. I’m fully comfortable using screen‑sharing tools to make lessons interactive. For distance learning, I mainly use Microsoft Teams to share my screen (exercises, vocabulary sheets) directly during the session.
Travel fee (€7): This covers travel time and transportation costs for in‑home lessons around Wittelsheim.
Free first meeting (30 minutes): Ideally done online. This session allows me to assess the student’s level and create a personalized learning plan together.
Lesson packs: Discounted rates (5‑hour or 10‑hour packs) are perfect for consistent follow‑up and long‑term progress.
