About Abdullah
I am an Economics, Finance and Management graduate from Queen Mary, University of London. I am also an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant, qualifying with a big 4 firm. I have always had a passion for teaching and helping students and have been tutoring for the past 5 years. I have specifically helped students with their GCSE & A Level Mathematics, Business & Economics and ACA exams. I have also worked with primary school children's maths. My educational background makes me a confident tutor, as I achieved an A* grade in GCSE maths, and then carried this forward and achieved an A grade in A-Level Maths. My Economics degree has equipped me well and provides in-depth knowledge on various aspects of the business world, including both Micro and Macro. This has allowed me to tutor to a very high standard and support students in any difficulties they face.

Having tutored since 2017, I have worked with students who have different needs and mindsets. I relate to my students & personally make sure to keep in touch with them almost every day to ensure if they have any questions regarding their work, I am available to support and provide answers. I really enjoy working with people, especially students, as it allows me to impact their attainment in a positive way and support them in progressing in their education. My teaching method is to first understand the student and their requirements, and then adapt how I deliver the lesson according to their needs. My lessons are motivating, interesting and I am well-versed at making difficult scenarios easy to understand. I aspire to make a real difference to my students and prove that excellent grades can be achieved, with the correct mindset and guidance. I am very patient and committed to my students. I firmly believe in assessing the student's understanding of a particular subject, level of competence and then hitting the high notes, giving top priority to exam techniques, question bank and past papers.
