About Louis
My name is Louis, I am 19 years old and currently on a year off before I begin my Geography degree at Bristol University. I want to enable more pupils to reach their target grades and beyond by providing engaging tutoring sessions where I can use my own personal experience of the subjects and exams to help them to enjoy and achieve.
Geography, especially human geography is a passion of mine and I would love to delve into the realms of Geopolitics, inequalities and other topics with students who want to broaden their knowledge, especially helpful for A Level.
I greatly enjoy speaking and teaching Spanish and would love to help students to find their confidence in speaking, as I find this is under-taught in schools despite being the key skill to a language. I do this by providing abase level of knowledge whilst building on conversations about interesting and practical things!
Whilst I'm not an expert tutor my recent knowledge of the school system and exams gives me a great tool to help teach.

Highly tailored lessons, focusing on topics and areas that most challenge and stretch pupils
I aim for pupils to try to think for themselves, allowing us to explore topics together (no copying off my slides!)
I am new to tutoring but have qualifications in teaching sailing and recent experience of school and these subjects and hope to apply my knowledge to create engaging and useful sessions
My Spanish lessons can be for people of any age from beginner to GCSE/A Level standard
My Geography lessons are aimed at students, usually studying for GCSE or A Level who want help on content, technique or exam advice
