About Elizabeth
My name is Liz, and I am a music teacher at Title I school in Texas. I teach general music K-4, soon to be K-5, and I also run an auditioned choir after school. My favorite things to teach are ukulele and xylophones.
As a teacher, I pride myself on my ability to build good relationships with students which helps to get them invested in their own learning.

I create lessons that engage you and will help you figure out what you are best at. I am really good at explaining things multiple ways so that it's easier for my students to understand, and creating opportunities for them to show what they've learned in creative ways.
Although I have only been teaching in the classroom for three years, I have learned so much about what works best and how to take what isn't working and modify it. This is the most essential part of being a modern-day educator and that's what I hope to instill in the people who learn from me.
